Rather than operating the traditional e-learning production factory LIMBIC's business model focuses on the core competences required to create and deliver great learning solutions. The model is very similar to an architectural practice, only in our case the core is based on the Learning Architect.

Our Learning Architects are adult educators with an approach based on rigorous research findings and validated experiences. They work with you to make your cash work harder, your people perform better, and your business take the lead.

LIMBIC's core activities are to maintain close liaison with you, to design, to write, to commission any necessary partners, and manage the production side.

Why do we operate like this?

By maintaining only the core competences inside LIMBIC it allows us to operate flexibly with third parties to ensure that we always deliver the best results at the most competitive price for our clients.

First, with a traditional e-learning vendor the client has to underwrite the e-learning vendor's costs: the HR function and admin overheads; an e-learning production factory that needs constant feeding, with any 'down time' still eating into the payroll. This simply can't deliver value for money.

Second, unlike traditional e-learning vendors we don't need to suggest e-learning all or most of the time, and we certainly don't need to push courseware all the time. In fact a course isn't always the best thing to do; it's just that a course and especially an

And third, the simple issue of resource management: how often with the vendor model does one client's team get used to cover another client's project?
